A local enterprise in Cebu Province, the Philippines, which has been deeply engaged in the local construction market for more than 20 years, urgently needed a stable supply of high-quality concrete for the post-typhoon reconstruction projects in the region. After multiple rounds of technical evaluations, it finally chose SDCAD to customize a concrete mixing plant to support the rapid advancement of livelihood projects such as schools and hospitals.
This customized concrete mixing plant has been specially optimized for the Philippines’ rainy climate and mountainous terrain: it is equipped with an independently developed 900/600-liter twin-shaft mixing main machine by SDCAD. The main machine has a rain-proof humidity sensor built-in, which can real-time correct the impact of rainwater on the moisture content of aggregates, ensuring the stable strength of concrete. It is also fitted with 4×25 cubic meters of inclined aggregate storage bins, which do not require complex foundations and are suitable for the site constraints of mountainous projects. In addition, the bin bodies are treated with anti-corrosion coating to extend their service life in the rainy environment.
The equipment is also equipped with an intelligent production scheduling system, which can automatically adjust the production priority according to the urgency of post-disaster reconstruction projects to achieve “on-demand material supply”. At present, the mixing plant has achieved a stable output of 120 cubic meters of concrete per day, which not only ensures the reconstruction progress of 3 schools and 2 community hospitals in Cebu Province, but also benefits from the simple and easy operation of the equipment. SDCAD’s local team completed the operation training for the enterprise’s employees in only 5 days, ensuring the equipment was put into production quickly.
With the advancement of post-disaster reconstruction in the Philippines, SDCAD has also equipped the equipment with a mobile maintenance unit, which can respond to fault repair requests within 24 hours. This provides solid support for the continuous construction of livelihood projects and further strengthens SDCAD’s service reputation in the infrastructure field of the Philippines.
