SDCAD Gains Further Trust from Nepalese Client: Custom Concrete Batching Plant Supports Luxury Residential Project in Kathmandu

After the successful commissioning of the concrete equipment from the first cooperation, a leading construction enterprise based in Kathmandu, Nepal, once again chose SDCAD and ordered a second customized concrete batching plant for the construction of a new high-end residential community in eastern Kathmandu. This community focuses on a “nature-integrated” living concept, with supporting facilities including rooftop gardens, parent-child playgrounds and fitness trails. Among them, transforming the open space between some buildings into a community shared vegetable garden is a first of its kind in the local area.

This customized concrete batching plant has made targeted designs in structural protection: all key components such as safety guards, maintenance platforms, climbing ladders, as well as the discharge cones of aggregate storage silos, silo panels, raw material weighing hoppers (including weighing units for aggregates, water, cement and additives), and conveyor racks, are treated with hot-dip galvanizing process. This can effectively resist corrosion under Nepal’s rainy and humid climate, extend the service life of the equipment, and ensure the long-term stable supply of concrete for the high-end residential project.
